The students showed their gratitude to the teachers by putting up programmes at various Welcome speech for freshers in college. The day started with Class 12 conducting the special morning assembly and handing over their prefectorial responsibilities to their juniors.
As a regular practice of HPS the classes were taken by the Class 12 students who took up the role of their teachers for a day. Acting as teachers, they got a fair idea of the responsibility efficiently handled by their teachers. In the mean time, the Head boy Srinivas Ikswaja entertained the teachers by conducting various games.
The students of the Primary school from four Colour Houses entertained teachers with toe tapping performances. All the Colour Houses outdid themselves and left the stadium awe struck by their talent and musical precision.
The Nalanda House emerged the winners in both the competitions. The Middle school students entertained the teachers through various dances followed by the Senior school students of class 12 who twirled in their gorgeous saris and smart ethnic wear to the music of evergreen Hindi and Telugu songs.
The day ended on a tone of gratitude,where each and every student felt the impact of their teachers in their life. Each storytelling sessions were of minutes and were themed to suit the requirements of different age groups of children.
Folktales from Around the World, Draw and Tell stories, Musical stories,Stories for children with special needs,Concept stories,Stories of love, peace and harmony, Stories of inspiration to name a few. All stories were value-based and had a contemporary connect. Yellow Day in Pre Primary Yellow the colour of sunshine, yellow the colour of sunflowers, yellow the colour of smile in the world was presented to the children of PP1 on Wednesday, 29 th August as they celebrated Yellow day.
The Pre primary lawn was glittering with gold as the children were dressed with different shades of the colour yellow. The corridors and the soft boards were decorated with various yellow objects from bees to mangoes and ducks and from minions to spongebob.
At the end of the day children were given beautiful sunflower handouts made out of colour paper to take home. The function was graced by Mr P. Skand Bali, Vice Principal Mrs.
Latha Shankar and other members of the Board. The driving range is mtrs long and 25 to 30 yards wide with ranges. This state of the art facility will be ideal for the students to learn the game of golf.
The renovated school hospital has a consultation room, observation room with the capacity of 12 beds, isolation room of 6 beds and girls room. The hospital is supported by a doctor throughout the day and a full time matron.
The e- library will provide access to a plethora of online information in the form of magazine articles, books, papers, images, sound files, and videos to the students and staff.
The workshop commenced with the brain storming session of good team work building, active Quality improvement, commitment, voluntary participation in the educational institutions. The workshop gave an insight to improve, enrich and uplift the Quality of work life and to provide opportunities for self-development.
All the sections of PP2 celebrated Pink Day by dressing up in various shades of pink.
The children of PP2 along with the teachers and class helpers, all dressed in pink. Each classroom was decorated differently, with objects and things that are pink in colour. The little ones were shown pink jelly fish and starfish, tulips, lotuses, flamingos, candies and ice creams but were most excited to see their favourite pink cartoon character Peppa for the cartoon shown Peppa pig.
The children were exposed to all the different shades of pink to familiarise them with the colour.
They were also given colouring and craft activities to further help them learn the colour.
